We are looking for a motivated, result oriented, and dedicated
individual with strong analytical skills who works well under
pressure with minimal supervision. The individual will be a part of
the Quality Assurance team, working closely with Software
Engineers, implementing quality assurance standards, processes, and
controls. The individual will be responsible for developing test
requirements, test plans, and test cases, for various components of
our application.

Core Responsibilities:
- Creation and execution of manual black box test plans and test
cases for the Ring Central service based upon functional and
software design specifications. - Work closely with Software Engineers to understand the product
requirements and use cases in order to deliver high quality
software on schedule for production releases. - Perform ad-hoc and Regression testing of system components
under aggressive release schedules. - Understand system components, how they interact with one
another, and be able to update testing procedures as the code
changes. - Be responsible for following through and making sure defects
are reported and escalated appropriately.
Requirements:
- Understanding of quality assurance and software development
processes and methodologies. - Analytical skills in assessing user, functional and technical
requirements. - Good problem solving, troubleshooting, and communication
skills. - Problem solving skills in determining hard to reproduce
defects. - Understanding of database basics
- Understanding of web services
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- 1+ years of QA experience including test planning and test
designing.
